WELCOME
In 2022 I fell in love with the tiny Japanese rice fish known as Medaka. In my quest to acquire these adorable and rare fish in the United States, I found many passionate collectors and a plethora of research.
This research however was buried in academic papers and Japanese websites. It was written for scientists in lab environments and not for the hobbyist or home aquarist.
With this blog, I aim to collect, translate, and summarize the vast knowledge of Medaka into resources for keepers like me.
